I just thought I’d call
feeling lost not knowing
why I’m flat up against the wall
I am hoping you can
talk me down from here
this world’s kind of crazy
I can’t figure the whys or wheres
can you tell me the reasons why
people disregard the lies
coming from the politicians who want to rule our lands

the making of money will always deny
that ocean warming is gonna ruin all our best laid plans

or want to to bring you down
I’ve just lost direction
just not feeling life’s safe or sound

we just can’t let go the past
fighting wars for generations that never seem to end
