This world’s our jigsaw puzzle with pieces we can’t find
living lives in our big hustle looking for some piece of mind
we need some understanding, peace and love

I left the house on Monday morning
and started on the hour drive
the news lamenting on the latest war
and how people can’t get out of there alive
I got driven by the stinging storm
skidding on the wind and foam
couldn’t see beyond the headlight’s beam
with a wish and a prayer to make it home
