We Can
We’ve been through everything two people could go through
Now we’ve come out the other side
We’ve had to harbor all our dreams for a while
But now we’re sailing with the wind and tide
Throughout this world there is misery all around
As the news shows us tragedies in a daily merry-go-round
It seems like there is little or no hope at all
can two people like us survive despite the rapids and the falls
we can win this game, to bloom like desert flowers
we can make our way through life’s crumbling towers
we can crest the waves, with arms wide in wonder
we can live our lives loving one another
