In his late teens, Ben become deeply interested in spirituality; continually fascinated by church and god.  Through contact with the alternative/hippy culture he become more aware of the energy within this world i.e. friends, family, crystal collecting and a deeper inquiry into the earth and the universe itself.  Ben’s scientific and analytical mind pursued cosmology, quantum theory and astronomy as more knowledge towards the goal of unraveling reality and the universe was acquired and assimilated.

Hip-hop culture had a great influence on his understanding of new ideas; the flows and rhythms of life.  Ben experienced this by expressing himself through dance, djing, and rhyming.

Ben’s writing took form at this time and became primarily lyrical, until his imagination took over and he began weaving short stories.  A little while later, after intermittent attendance at various schools of higher education, Ben’s entered into a career which took him into the world of buying, designing and the running of a retail operation. This company has a world traveler concept and feel, and Ben embodied this concept by traveling across the world to India, Nepal, Thailand, Bali, Europe, and Myanmar. His frequent traveling has given him a global perspective and a love for many cultures as well as a feeling of world citizenship.
